This is a performance-based course designed upon the job-related tasks an advanced professional must perform using new or modified features in the Cisco^® systems.

Combined with some revision this course is recommended as preparation for the CCNP exam. (Cisco test numbers 642-901, 642-812, 642-825 and 642-845)


Upon completion of this course, you should be able to:

• Install, configure, and troubleshoot local and wide area networks for enterprise as well as small-scale organizations with networks from 100 to more than 500 nodes.

• To successfully pass the BSCI exam, you will be made very familiar with general networking concepts and have relevant experience using Cisco routers.

• Use your knowledge and skills required to design and build complex switched networks

• Know how to provide remote network access by configuring asynchronous modems and router interfaces, ISDN, Frame Relay, cable modems and DSL, VPNs, and NAT. This is a fair exam but very difficult if you are not properly prepared.
